ABOUT. DOUGH XX® is the premier purveyor of quality cookie dough. Made by hand in small batches, we only use incredible ingredients carefully curated from trusted purveyors. Whether it’s pure vanilla from Madagascar, or the finest chocolate from the oldest continuously family-run chocolatiers in America, we really, truly care. And the kicker: instead of eggs, we finely grind whole chia seeds bloomed in water from the Hetch Hetchy, making for a dough that is nuttier, chewier, slightly healthier, and safe-to-eat both unbaked and baked. We top with a few flakes of delicate crunchy Maldon Sea Salt for that salty/sweet contrast—it’s doughlicious. Find us in rad restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops all around.

STORY. DOUGH XX was started by writer and lover of all things food Omar Mamoon. When he moved to San Francisco in 2007, his first apartment was located directly across the street from  La Cocina, a non-profit that helps low-income, immigrant women of color start food businesses. As a first-generation child to immigrant parents, La Cocina’s mission spoke loudly to Omar, so he began volunteering regularly. He soon grew inspired to leave his desk job and start his very own food business in 2013 as a commercial user of La Cocina, a cookie dough company called DOUGH & CO; he changed the name to DOUGH XX in 2018.

COLLABORATION FOR A CAUSE. DOUGH XX was started by pouring our energy into an organization that matters, and in that philanthropic spirit, we proudly donate at least  1% of our profits, 1% of our time, and 1% of our delicious cookie dough back to different causes and non-profits around the world doing good work through our collaborations. To date, we’ve directly raised and donated tens-of-thousands of dollars, and we’re just getting started.

MISSION. To make a difference in the world, one cookie at a time.
